Cookery School
General Information
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time for a prompt start
- We provide you with all ingredients, equipment, apron & recipe sheet
- Tea & coffee available throughout the session
- Feel free to bring a notepad and pen
- Bring a container/bag to take your cooked goods home
- Bring a hair tie for long hair
- Wear layers as the room can get warm!
- Feel free to bring your favourite cooks knife/knives
- Notify us of any food intolerances and dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate
- Important: If you booked for someone other than yourself, please remember to also pass this information on to them!

Parrs Wood High School
Wilmslow Road, East Didsbury, Manchester, M20 5PG
Located on Wilmslow Road in East Didsbury and is about 10 minute walk from East Didsbury Metrolink station or East Didsbury Railway Station. From the Metrolink, walk west on Parrs Wood Lane towards the leisure complex on Kingsway/A34. Keep the complex on your left and continue walking to the little zebra crossing. Cross over and the main reception is ahead of you, although you may need to walk around to the facing door to enter the building. From the railway station, cross Kingsway and you will see the Parrs Wood Leisure complex ahead of you.
By Car – You are free to park in the Parrs Wood Leisure complex and can access the main entrance via the zebra crossing (outside the school). Alternatively park in the school’s car park: continue to follow the road around with the leisure complex car park to your left and the school on your right. You will reach a right hand turn with a ‘No Exit’ sign. Turn right here and follow the road past the basketball courts round to the rear of the sports hall, until you arrive at the rear car park. Please report to the main reception.
Foraging Venues
General Information
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time for a prompt start
- We try to finish on time but there is always a chance that a foraging & cooking session could run over slightly
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the time of year & the weather, suitable for being outdoors for at least 3 hours!
- If possible, bring a basket for collecting
- Something to tie back long hair while cooking what you forage
- A flask with a hot or cold drink depending on the time of year and a snack to keep you going if you think you might get hungry
- A small food container should the be leftovers!
- Important: If you booked for someone other than yourself, please remember to also pass this information on to them!

Meet at the car park at Chorlton Water Park, it is right at the end of Maitland Avenue (M21 7WH), off Barlow Moor Road. Wheelchair friendly venue.
Chorlton Ees
Meet at the Chorlton Ees entrance car park on Brookburn Road, opposite The Bowling Green pub, Chorlton Green, Manchester M21 9ES. Wheelchair friendly venue.
