Festive COOK-Up!

Join our all-day fundraising event Festive Cook-Up! at Manchester’s Freight Island (9:30am – 5pm)

From our Cook-Ups to date you have saved 1.2 tonnes of food from waste and helped us to make 5,667 meals for homeless people in Greater Manchester, so you deserve a really, really BIG pat on the back!

It’s time to don your apron again, under the twinkly lights and disco balls and get chopping with your team as you work together to make delicious, nutritious meals for people that need it most.

For those wanting a festive celebration to remember, this is the event for you!

So let’s bring your team together and make a difference this Festive season:

• Date: Tuesday 1st December
• Registration: 9.30am. Get Ready Cook at 10am prompt, event ends 5pm
• How: Sponsor a table of 16 team members for £2160 or book an individual space for £145

The Day’s Itinerary

When & Where:

📍 The main room at Freight Island, 11 Baring St, M1 2PY

Tuesday 1st December, 9.30am – 5pm

How it works:

9:30am – Register, grab a brew and briefing
10am – Welcome, find your table & cooking begins!
11am – It’s a surprise!
12pm – Chat, chop & work together with colleagues and new contacts
1pm – Lunch & Raffle tickets for sale
2pm – Back to cooking & packing
3pm – End-of-day games and carnival activities. Label writing with Ella Schweiger
4pm – Event finishes with Raffle Prize Draw, meal total reveal and collective cheer!
5pm – Homeless support organisations arrive to network and collect meals

Come away from the day knowing you have directly provided nourishing meals for 1,500+ homeless people from across Greater Manchester and delivered heart-felt messages to a portion of those people. You’ll be part of our current total of 5,667 meals made for 13 homeless support organisations across Greater Manchester.
