Cracking Good

Cause of the Year

Why become a ‘Cracking Good Cause of the Year’ partner?

Adopting Cracking Good Food as your ‘Cracking Good Cause of the Year’ partner will bring opportunities for your employees, clients, membership, pupils, strategic partners or supporters to share memorable fundraising events together, to help fund Cracking Good Food’s vital work supporting and empowering some of Greater Manchester’s most vulnerable and hard to reach communities. Our partnership will enable us to teach all communities ‘cook-from-scratch’ skills and educate how to shop affordably, seasonally and to understand how food choices impact on our environment. Our sessions are fun, inspiring and empowering and we support everyone to boost their own mental and physical well being, as well as that of their loved ones.

To thankyou for your invaluable support, our partners receive:

Available in any denomination for use in a prize drawer for a fundraising event or maybe reward a member for their continued support.

For display in your reception or Board room to proudly show your members and supporters how much you care for your community.

Includes inspiring and fun ways for you and your team to launch your support, whether you organise a bake off, sporting challenge or quiz night, we have many more fun ideas to help motivate your work force, clients, membership, supporters or strategic partners to help fight towards good food for all.

A Cracking Good Food senior team member will visit your organisation to further inform how our partnership  supports and contributes to creating a good food culture for all communities borough wide. This online event or when COVID restrictions have eased, us attending your face to face event is a great opportunity for you to extend an invitation to your team members, important clients, wider networks and strategic partners to attend your AGM, launch event or online seminars.  Let everyone know about the level of support you are dedicating to local communities.

Use of our logo along with permission gained photographs within your promotional materials and communications to launch our partnership and raise awareness of the fundraising activities you organise throughout the Cracking Good Cause of the Year scheme. (guidelines for logo and photograph usage will be provided).

A scheme designed to support low income communities to obtain some of the basic kitchen equipment which your team members, supporters and clients may have in the back of their cupboards! Help support our scheme to redistribute their preloved equipment to communities who have little to no funds to buy new. Place a Kitchen Kit collection point within your office for team members and visitors to donate items.

Where relevant opportunities and meaningful engagement can occur we will formally and informally introduce our unique network virtually and by email. Where a suitable opportunity arises, we would be happy to arrange for a small group to visit one of our outreach projects so you can see how the partnership is being delivered out in the community.

You will be supported and guided by our dedicated Relationship Manager.

In return, your support will greatly benefit our communities in the following ways:

You dedicating your fundraising activities to Cracking Good Food to help to raise funds between £500 to £1000 or more in the year, will help contribute towards our operational costs for providing at least 2 hands on cooking sessions with communities who greatly benefit from the life skills we teach, the money they will save and will foster a love of good food.

Presently, fundraising £1000 would support our COVID Crack the Crisis free meal delivery service to provide 800 meals to communities in need across Greater Manchester. Working together, we can help break the barriers preventing vulnerable and low income families accessing nutritious sustainable foods and learning how to cook good ingredients from scratch. Partnering with Cracking Good Food lets your members know you proudly support and care about your community!

Everyone deserves good food.
