With grant funding ever more difficult to secure, and the costs involved in running our community-based food and cooking education projects rising, we are looking at different ways to raise funds whilst showing our supporters a cracking good time! As cooking is our thing we are excited to share the most delicious food at our Restaurant Takeover Fundraiser events with all funds going to support our work tackling food insecurity in Greater Manchester.

Our first fundraising evening of authentic Spanish Tapas at The Milliner in Stockport in partnership with Chelwood Foodbank Plus was a great success. Unfortunately our planned Gujarati evening had to be cancelled due to issues at the venue which were taken out of our control. You can still help us to support Barnabus our event partners for the evening and Pay it Forward. A donation of £12.50 purchases a hot meal for a member of the homeless community they support in Manchester. Click here to donate.

Our mission to tackle food insecurity across Greater Manchester remains the same and we hope to stage another Restaurant Takeover Fundraiser event in autumn 2024 – watch this space.
