Christmas Vegan Meal


Due to the governments most recent announcement, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone all sessions in January and February. We have plenty of insipiring and fun sessions scheduled for the year, so please do look at our events calander. We will shortly schedule online COOKAlongs to tie in with our cookery school cuisines – we very much hope to be cooking with you very soon! Meanwhile our work continues providing meals for our most vulnerable communities through our Covid 19 Emergency Food Response.

    This take on a dairy-classic is a perfect start to a Christmas lunch.
  • Roasted Butternut Squash Pithivier
    Learn how to make vegan pastry, purees and an easy barley risotto to make an impressive individual Christmas main
  • Port and Onion Gravy
    This Christmas staple doesn’t need meat, just a few onions, port plus a secret ingredient!
  • Cauliflower Gratin
    Create a vegan version of this classic dish that can be eaten any time of year. We’ll be adding a few extra touches to make it special dish for Christmas dinner
  • Butternut Squash, onion and sage stuffing balls
    This waste-not want-not recipe using ingredients we have for our main course to make a delicious side dish (perfect for mopping up gravy)

Join Clare for this 4-hour Vegan Christmas meal cooking session to learn how to create impressive vegan festive flavoured dishes but can also be cooked and shared throughout the seasons. Clare is an experienced vegetarian and vegan cook, with a focus on making flavoursome vegetables the star of the show – not just the side dish! Clare will take you through some classic cooking techniques, as well as discussing timings leading up to the big day and how the recipes can be adapted to make tasty vegan dinners in the upcoming year.
